		> BAC-EMS January 31, 2002 BAC-EMS January 31, 2002Bayfield-Ashland Counties EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COUNCIL   MEETING MINUTES January 31, 2002   The January meeting of the Bayfield-Ashland Counties EMS Council was called to order by Dean Hambrecht, President of the Council.  The meeting was held in the Mason Emergency Services Training Room, Mason.     Gary Victorson was requested to take minutes as Jan Victorson was still en route from Madison.   Motion made by Art Nelson, seconded by Chuck Elton, to accept the minutes as printed.  Motion carried.     TREASURER – Chuck Elton reported that there is a balance of $1814.26 in the Council account.  The medical director payment for the last quarter of 2001 has not been paid.     Motion made by Art Nelson, seconded by Dan Diamon, to accept the Treasurer’s Report.  Motion carried.   MDAC – There has been no meeting of the committee.  A meeting will be held prior to the February Council meeting.     WITC – Discussion about issues related to training including CPR training conflicts, communication, and general feeling of little support from WITC.  Consensus to look at training needs, gather information on how to work together with WITC to solve issues, and discuss again at the next meeting.   BILLING OF MEMBERSHIP DUES – Chuck Elton reported that he will soon be sending out invoices for 2002 membership dues.  Consensus that invoices not be sent to police departments in the two counties.     NEXT MEETING – The next meeting is scheduled for February 28th at MMC.   Motion made by Gene Qualle, seconded by Art Nelson, to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned.     IN ATTENDANCE   Merrilee Carlson MMC/Ashland Chuck Elton                  Washburn Dan Diamon                  Gold Cross Dean Hambrecht            Great Divide George A Koval              Mason Art Nelson                     Glidden Gene Qualle                  Bayfield    Arriving late:   Jan Victorson                Bayfield County Emergency Management                                             |
